Welcome to TiberiumWars.com
Through the many years we've tried many different ways of bringing you C&C content. Unfortunately, we've failed in this regard due to a variety of reasons, ranging from a lack of time to a lack of interest in the project. The last iteration of the site ran on an article publishing system in the hopes that any staff member could continually work on the site without the need for the owner to be active. However, it's clear that this method didn't work as hoped. The solution is to allow everyone to contribute. A wiki system seems the logical tool to accomplish this goal, as it is a format that most people are familiar with.
We invite you to help us create a massive resource for all things related to C&C. Contribute in any way that you can, be it in the creation of new articles, or the improvement of existing ones. Please join us on the forum as we discuss the long term goals of the site, and how we aim to accomplish them.

All Good Things - August 3, 2008, 9:46am - Author: Nycto
We have not updated the news in quite some time, but I have a somewhat relevant piece of information to drop upon you. I wanted to let you know that Software and I had a small chat regarding the future of the site. Though at this point I am not certain, though I expect that TiberiumWars.com will not be officially closed...I do not expect a renewal of the domain name come April of next year. The reasons for this are numerous...our community has shrunken to all but a handful of members, the main technical force behind the site is totally AWHOL and I find myself stretched thin between finding a job, going to school, maintain my relationships and still being my own person all at once. As such, I myself would think it best to transfer it to a responsible and dedicated member or group within in the C&C community, though I cannot say for sure what will happen, as I cannot predict the future. Maybe the site will be revitalized. I do not know. All I know, and Software agrees, is that Tiberium Wars has come and passed us by. We missed the boat on having our moment of glory. As a result, I doubt this site will ever grow into what it could have been and what we hoped it would be, and so I feel proper to warn you all now that our time here together is most likely nearing an end. This site has done great things for a few people. It created new friendships, changed lives, and gave us all something to do when we were really bored. I know that in the last past six years, this site provided me with many things that I would not have otherwise, and for that I am grateful. But, as evidenced by the lack of activity here in the past few months, TiberiumWars.com has run it's course, and so I feel that it is appropriate to let you all know that is the direction in which we are heading. If I do have to write up the official "final goodbye," in the coming months, well, it'll probably be on the main page letting you all know what's going on. |

Tacitus Thursday - Global Conquest Mode - February 23, 2008, 9:44pm - Author: Software2
Yes, it's Saturday, but I'm betting that many of you haven't checked out the latest Tacitus Thursday yet. This week, EA has revealed Global Conquest mode, of which I am personally very excited about. This game mode is similar to that of Star Wars: Empire At War, or if you're unfamiliar with that game, Risk. You can read all about it on the official C&C site, or you can read our archived version of it here. Read Comments (1) |
